Shoegaze × Metalgaze: Death of Heather & Torrayot Launch “Death of Torrayot” —First Single “Horoscope” MV
Thai shoegaze band Death of Heather and metalgaze artist Torrayot have teamed up for their collaborative project Death of Torrayot, releasing the music video for their first single “Horoscope”.
Death of Heather, a shoegaze band signed to Smallroom, is an accomplished act that toured Japan three times between 2023 and 2024. Torrayot is an artist championing “metalgaze,” blending the heaviness of Deftones, Sepultura, and Sleep with the intoxicating beauty of The Cure and My Bloody Valentine. On this track, ethereal soundscapes intersect with groovy, heavy riffs, creating a unique synergy that only a collaboration of this nature could achieve. A second release in the series is also planned, making the project one to watch closely.
