Third album from Thai post-rock/shoegaze band Desktop Error, arriving roughly eight years after their previous release.

Unlike the fan-favorite second album, this one adopts a darker, more introspective tone, with less emphasis on post-rock and shoegaze textures. The sole track that leans fully into shoegaze, #7 “ตน” (Self), rushes forward with a bright energy while its melody retains a subtle shadow, signaling a clear evolution in their sound. Listening to it for a while almost evokes the feeling of entering the rainy season early—truly delightful.

Note: On this site, “dark” is intended as the highest compliment. Another notable aspect is the intensified introspective beauty reminiscent of Radiohead. It’s almost as if OK Computer and Desktop Error are antonyms, yet clearly share a lineage: early in their career, they reportedly covered Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and The Stone Roses.
