The debut album from Death of Heather, a shoegaze/dream pop band based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Originally a punk band, the group reportedly shifted toward shoegaze after being inspired by Turnover - “Peripheral Vision”. The band name itself is a clever hybrid—combining Heather Baron-Gracie of Pale Waves with Death of Lovers, the project formed by members of Whirr and Nothing.

For the genre-inclined, their sound could be described as The Cure × DIIV × Cigarettes After Sex. World-weary male vocals drift over delicate guitar textures, creating a beautifully languid and melancholic atmosphere that lingers long after the songs end.

That a band from perpetually sun-soaked Thailand produces such introspective, downcast music is unexpectedly compelling.
(Little did we know at the time that a Japan tour would follow just a few years later…)
