Second EP from Japanese shoegaze/alternative rock band BLOOD PICK ME.

Their signature dark sensibility remains fully intact on this release. The standout track is the opener, “BLOOD to BLOOD”, a groundbreaking piece that channels elements of goth, industrial, and new wave reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode. The late shift into a heavier four-on-the-floor beat sends chills down your spine, making it a top contender for 2021’s best track.

Other highlights include “Nothing”, a heavy shoegaze cut that was already a standout on their previous EP; “I.N.U”, which rides on sultry poetry reading over driving instrumentation; and “BLACK NIGHT RIDE”, where massive walls of sound meet catchy vocals for a thrilling effect.
