Wednesday have released a performance video for their new single “Fine.”
Based in Seoul, South Korea, Wednesday are a shoegaze band whose sound blends heavily reverberated guitars with melancholic melodies, creating a delicate and immersive atmosphere. Their debut EP, “If You Feel Everything,” released on April 9, 2026, follows the emotional descent into profound loneliness through the perspective of a jellyfish.
Released following the EP, “Fine” captures the struggle to let go of loss and lingering attachment while quietly reassuring oneself with the words, “I'm fine.” Its restrained melancholy and shimmering shoegaze textures leave a lasting emotional resonance.
The newly released performance video presents a striking contrast to the band's previous visualizer for “Aphotic.” Dressed in white against the darkness of a dimly lit studio, the band appears illuminated by a soft glow. Mirroring the lyric, “Baby you were light / Baby you were nightmare,” the performance embodies the coexistence of light and darkness, resulting in a dreamlike visual that complements the song's emotional duality.
