Nuovo Testamento release Audiotree live performance video | Los Angeles trio blending goth, Italo disco, and synth-pop
Los Angeles-based trio Nuovo Testamento have shared their Audiotree Live performance video.
Formed around 2019 by Andrea Mantione (synth), Giacomo Zatti (drums), and Chelsey Crowley (vocals), the group emerged from a coldwave-leaning aesthetic on their debut EP “Exposure,” gradually expanding into a hybrid of Italo disco and synth-pop. With each release, they have refined a more luminous, dance-oriented sound that has earned them a growing international following.
In this Audiotree session, the band performs a six-track set centered on their latest EP “Trouble.” The accompanying interview explores the members’ unexpected musical influences, along with their approach to reinterpreting 1980s and 1990s nostalgia through a contemporary lens.
