Soft Siren is a Los Angeles-based dream pop / shoegaze project formed by Jacqueline Torgerson (CASHFORGOLD), Jake Lee (Sidewalks and Skeletons), and singer-songwriter Michael Coe.
Their single “Dethereal” was released in March 2025. It opens with a delicate passage reminiscent of Cocteau Twins and Slowdive before unfolding into a wash of noise in the chorus. Ethereal vocals and layered textures converge into a dramatic yet fluid shoegaze track.
The video pairs dusk-lit cityscapes with vivid flowers, visually echoing the song’s lush, dreamlike atmosphere.
In February, they posted “Album is Coming” on Instagram, hinting at a forthcoming full-length. More details are expected.
