:LOR3L3I: shares new track “Cloak of Stars” ahead of debut album Peace by Proxy
New Zealand-based, Dunedin-centered dark electronic solo project :LOR3L3I: has released a new track, “Cloak of Stars” and announced the debut full-length album Peace by Proxy, set for release on April 17, 2026.
:LOR3L3I: is led by Heike Langhans, a seasoned vocalist known for her work with Remina, Sojourner, and Light Field Reverie, and formerly active in Draconian and ISON.
The project focuses on electronic expression, blending her ethereal vocals with synths that evoke distant starlight, creating expansive, dark soundscapes reminiscent of the cosmos. Peace by Proxy provides insight into her artistic evolution and early career. Listeners who enjoy Trentemøller, Trevor Something, or SPC ECO may find this particularly compelling.

The solo album I have been promising for so long is finally done! After more than a decade of unfinished demos and other obligations, I bring you 'Peace by Proxy' - A 10 track offering from the heart.Most of you already know I love Darkwave as much as Metal, so if you're into it or just want to hear more of my own writing, please check it out!
