Lebanon Hanover to perform their debut Japan show on September 7 — A key act in post-punk and darkwave, the duo is set for an exclusive one-night engagement.
Lebanon Hanover emerged as a foundational force in the post-2010 post-punk and goth revival movement and has since become one of the genre’s most internationally recognized acts. With over one million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 100 million streams for “Gallowdance” their global reach appears firmly established.
Presented by Tokyo Decay, led by Naohiro Yamada of the goth band 13th Moon, the one-night engagement will take place on September 7, 2026.
Retaining a distinct 1980s sensibility while refining it through a minimalist aesthetic, Lebanon Hanover has shaped a contemporary post-punk/darkwave sound that continues to resonate across borders. The show offers a rare opportunity to experience that stark, distilled intensity firsthand.
