Seattle Shoegazer Painted Vein Unveils MV for “Left Behind”｜A Nostalgic Rock Number Steeped in Solitude
The Seattle-based shoegaze project Painted Vein has released a music video for their new single “Left Behind.”
Painted Vein is the solo project of Andrea Fox Volpato, a musician, producer, and engineer also known for work with New Candys and MØAA. “Left Behind” marks the first new material since the debut album Dripping Only Black (2024) and serves as the lead single for the upcoming new album.
The music video interweaves shots of Andrea performing solo on guitar with fragmented, cinematic scenes reminiscent of a mystery film, all set against a backdrop of the project’s signature gothic and post-punk-infused sound. The track’s brooding atmosphere invites listeners to experience it during late-night solitude, enhancing its immersive melancholy.
