Slowwves Shares Live Video on CD COSMOS—Coming to Japan in October
Bangkok-based Thai shoegaze band Slowwves have unveiled a live session video recorded at CD COSMOS.
Performing four tracks—“Anywhere Else,” “SWS,” “Vortex,” and “Labyrinth”—from their debut album “Perfect Evasion,” the session unfolds a soundscape steeped in deep melancholy. Stickers on guitarist/vocalist Jill’s guitar—referencing Korn, Alice in Chains, The Misfits, Joy Division, Sonic Youth, and HIM—offer a glimpse into her wide-ranging roots, a detail fans will appreciate.
Their long-awaited Japan shows are set for Monday, October 13 (national holiday) at Shimokitazawa BASEMENTBAR and Tuesday, October 14 at Shinjuku SPACE TOKYO, presenting a rare opportunity to experience the forefront of a new generation of Asian shoegaze.
