Thai Blackgaze Act My Dark Secret Transcendence Unveils “The Last” MV —Exploring Dreamy Horizons
My Dark Secret Transcendence, a Thai blackgaze band, has released the music video for their new single “The Last (ของลมหายใจ)”.
My Dark Secret Transcendence began as a solo project by Narusha Dithabenjakul, frontman of Thai death metal band Deathguy. Following the release of their debut album “TEARNOUMENON” in 2023, the project has since evolved into a full band. The current lineup consists of four members: Narusha (lead vocals / guitar), Zyanide (female vocals / performer), Tilawoahc (bass), and Thunyawat (drums).
Their latest single “The Last (ของลมหายใจ)” opens with a striking combination of blast beats and tremolo-picked guitars before unfolding at a more measured pace, centered around delicate clean vocals. In the chorus, male and female vocals intertwine to release a surge of melancholy. Paired with visuals of graceful dancing set against open grasslands, the video evokes an ethereal atmosphere often cited in connection with Alcest, offering a glimpse of a new facet of the band’s sonic and visual identity.
Live activity has also begun to intensify. On April 26, 2025, My Dark Secret Transcendence will perform their first-ever live show in a co-headlining appearance with Japan’s Pale. They are also scheduled to support US depressive post-black metal band Ghost Bath on October 25, 2025, in addition to appearing at a music festival in Taiwan, with further details to be announced. Many fans are likely awaiting the day the band brings their music to Japan.
