18yo Shoegaze Star Cuspid Drops “Nematode” MV
Cuspid, an 18-year-old artist based in Los Angeles and Beijing, has released the music video for their debut single “Nematode”.
Cuspid’s detailed profile has not been publicly disclosed, but glimpses of her musical roots can be seen in Instagram clips of her covering Deftones in high school and reworking Lana Del Rey’s “Shades Of Cool” into a heavy shoegaze style. “Nematode” delivers a Wisp-like heavy yet dreamy sound while also revealing a more seductive and ennui-tinged side. Her debut EP, Whiplash, is expected to be released soon.
